Rated 4 out of 5 by Earle Improve Sound Volume
Great toy but the volume in phone mode is so low, that it does not attract the attention of the child.
Easy fix just add the tab from the packaging back into the phone and the volume is much better.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kathij excellent toy & my nephew's favorite
This is my handicapped nephew's favorite toy. First time my sister gave it to him, he "talked" on it for 4 hours. He has since gone through several of these phones as he often bangs it against his wheelchair with glee. At Christmas 2014 I sent 2 more phones to him. Today as I went shopping at my local Walmart I was horrified to discover they no longer carry this phone. So I took to the internet & found your website. I'm sure Vtec has no idea how much joy they've brought to a handicapped person. I have a photo of my nephew talking on this phone...Priceless. Thank you for providing him so much happiness. A happy customer

Rated 2 out of 5 by Nana1953 Not Great
The sound on it is awful. My granddaughter loved it at first. But the sound is so low on it, she got bored very quickly. Very poor design. There should be an adjustable sound button on it. I wish I would have never bought it now. If I would have known there was no sound adjustment, I wouldn't have bought it. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Justine17 Extremely heavy & bulky phone for a baby/toddler.
This phone is so bulky (fat) and extremely heavy that my twins won't play with it. Too hard for them to carry without slipping out of their hands and smashing their toes with its weight. Not worth the money. I rather give them an old cell phone to play with.

Rated 3 out of 5 by UpzeeDazee Not what you see in the Store
I purchased this for my son because it was interactive and taught letters and numbers. The display and sounds were enough to keep his attention I thought. I got it home and took it out of it's package and suddenly I could not hear the sounds very well and my son gives it back to me and walks away. I looked for a volume button and opened up the slider and the sound was louder like it was in the store but the minute I closed it, the sounds were quieted to half. I started reading the troubleshooting guide that came with the phone and discovered that to stay within safety guidelines of putting a phone up to one's ear, the volume is reduced after taking it out of the package. The volume is louder so that you can hear it in a store setting. What?
So if you slide it open, it is loud like it should be but then to look at the numbers on the keypad, it has to be vertical in your hand but to see them correctly on the screen the phone has to be horizontal in your hand. Very confusing for a child.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Andre's Mom Great learning toy-Great price
My 2 year old son and I were drawn to this product simply beause it slides up just like mommy's & daddy's. I love to see him push the buttons and repeat the numbers and letters. Educational as well as Entertaining is always a plus with any toy!

Rated 5 out of 5 by tiger's mommy best toy i've purchased!
My son has a lot of toys but this phone is probably one of the best purchases I've made. My son loves playing with my phone so I was looking for a toy phone that looked fairly real bc we all know that kids want mommy and daddy's phone, not their toy phones. It has a decent screen, a lot of buttons to press (with numbers and letters) and several different play modes. It says it's for 2+ years old but I got this for my son when he was 9 months old and he loved it, as well as all his baby friends. I haven't met a baby who doesn't love this phone. My now 11 month old throws it around, puts in his mouth, etc. and it's held up very well. I've read other reviews where people mention the volume--when it's in texting mode, it's pretty loud, but the volume gets really quiet when it's in the regular phone mode. This is intentional so it doesn't hurt kids' ears.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MissKitty Cute and Worth the $$$$$$$
If you have a child like minne the first thing a 2 year old wants to do is grab my cell phone. This is a wonderful toy because my daughter loves the way it talks to her and unlike other toy phones it contains multiple voices and several different features. Her favorite of which is the txt message feature. She loves the Owl that graces the screen at every activity. I would highly recommend this toy if your child loves phones. :)
