Easy to Transform
I received this for review, but all thoughts are my own.
I was so excited when this arrived, as I know my son is going to love it... but, I was worried that it would be another toy that I was having to do for him... not the case! It was easy to change from dino to jet, but I was confused why the directions they give show you changing from jet to dino, but it is packaged as a dino... maybe to make you think?
Can't wait until he unwraps this at Christmas!!!!

Playing With Big Al
SkySlicer arrived in his dino form. The instructions show the transformation, but only show the steps to go convert from jet to dino so you do need to think in reverse on how to move a few parts and transform his shape. Two AAA batteries are needed to have sound. SkySlicer the Allosaurus™ is recommended for children ages 3-8 years. My oldest, who turns seven in just a few days, did not have interest in SkySlicer. I’m not sure if it was just due to her own preference or maybe the ideal age is not realistically up to age eight. My other two children fight over playtime with “Big Al” and they are almost three and five.
The only other comment I would have is with the lower jaw of Allosaurus/part of the nose when a jet. You have to press firmly to lock this piece in place, which may be hard to do for some children or it will flop down when in jet mode.

Creative fun for Dino Lovers
My son is a big dinosaur lover, but I thought he might think was a bit too babyish for him. At 7 he's researched many dinosaurs, so even though this toy is for ages 3-8 I wasn't sure he would go for it. He did. He was well versed in the facts that "Big Al" had to share about dinosaurs, but he loves playing with it and turning it into a jet plane. It's a durable toy, as I found VTech to be in the past. He's been enjoying it! I like the fact that it has an on and off switch so I don't have to listen to "Big Al" all the time. I think most parents would enjoy this feature. My son wants me to let you know that, " It's fun and I like taking it to school, plus I can use all the buttons!" Mom says, "Great gift for kiddos this holiday season, but thinks 8 is pushing it a bit." I think 4-6 is the perfect age range for this item.

Great Toy for a Great Price!
Our son who is 4 has been having a bit of trouble staying in this bed at bedtime. When this toy arrived in the mail, my husband and I decided that we'd use it as a reward for good bedtimes! Well, after just a few nights, he earned his Switch & Go Dino and he just loves it. I love seeing him use his imagination when he plays and I love how durable this toy is. We're happy with it!

This product creates hours of fun.

My daughter LOVES this toy. So it's not just for boys. The added features of the LCD screen and the sound effect buttons really makes this toy super fun and educational. With the phrases about dinosaurs, she really is learning. It is also twice the fun as it easily transforms from one toy(dinosaur) to the next(jet plane). I highly recommend this toy. It is excellent.

Lots of fun potential
I got this toy for my grandson for his birthday. He is 6 and loves all things Dinosaur, and Los loves airplanes, so this is the perfect mob inaction for him. My husband loved it too.

Imaginative Play with SkySlicer (Big Al)
SkySlicer the Allosaurus has a small LCD screen where you can view and choose your pilot. There are also buttons to make plane sound effect and small phrases. When you switch to dinosaur mode, you can use the screen to change the dinosaur's eyes and hear dinosaur noises and phrases.
My kids enjoyed the toy! It's easy for the kids to transform and has some cool features while still allowing them to use their imagination. For parents - the toy also has an on/off switch for the noises as well as a volume featurem. Overall, it's a well-thought-out toy that kids will enjoy and that can provide hours of imaginative playtime for young children.

My Preschooler Loves SkySlicer the Allosaurus!
My preschooler has loved the newest VTech Switch & Go Dino, SkySlicer the Allosaurus, ever since we first got it! I love that VTech is a trusted brand, and they develop some of the best electronic learning toys on the market. My son loves converting the toy from a dinosaur to a plane, and back again! We also love the sounds this dino/airplane makes. He zooms around the house with his SkySlicer all day long! I'm sure it helps that he loves anything and everything dinosaurs, and VTech just game him another reason to love them all the more.
