Rated 5 out of 5 by Skippy Works Great I dont know what all of these other people are talking about, Skippy works great following our Daughter around the house as long as we dont put him on Carpet. We changed the batteries on the first day we had him and 2 months later, we havent changed them since. She absolutly loves him and is by far her favorite toy. 2 Thumbs up for Skippy who seems to be taking a beating here :( January 11, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not Good Good Because it Say words like body parts: Ear,Front&Back Leg, Walk Jump dance and run... Don't understand why a dog would dance but maybe some dogs do...lol The Remote did not work .The dog did not follow the bone. It did not work on my floor.I think it is the wheels are not very good.It repeats the same song over & over again . November 12, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by A HUGE disappointment for a V-Tech Toy! I usually love V-tech toys.... Unfortunately, this is NOT one of those times. We have several of their toys, and my daughter usually loves them. The only reason I gave this toy two stars (rather than one) is it is built well, and is cute. As the other reviewers have stated, the dog does NOT follow the bone (although he continously says he is). At times he appears to trying to, but is MUCH MUCH too slow and certainly doesn't keep up with a toddler!! Clearly the reason one would be interested in purchasing this toy is the delight a child would find in having a puppy following it around, and this simply doesn't do it. What's more, the "body teaching" element is minimal at best. While the appendages have stickers denoting their name (i.e., "Leg", etc.) there are few/no buttons for the kids to push to hear the name. Clearly, most children will not be able to read the provided labels, so this element, also, does not rise to the ususal V-tech standard. All in all, A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT! Save your money, or find another V-Tech toy to spend it on!! December 25, 2010
Rated 2 out of 5 by Dissapointed Waited a long time and saved up to buy the dog and he is cute but I have tried to work with it and it just won't follow the bone and then says it found the bone when actually the bone is still far away. That was dissapointing. Wanted a toy that would follow my son around. He likes it okay though. His favorite thing is to play with the tail, that's about it. January 29, 2010
Rated 2 out of 5 by misleading tried everything but can't get this toy to follow the bone which was the main reason for buying this toy. would not have paid this much for this had i known this. January 10, 2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by A little disappointing My son loves my daughters little pony remote control so I was so excited for this. Thought it would be so cute for him to be walking around with this little toy following him everywhere. He likes to cary the bone and push the buttons on the puppy, but I was very dissapointed when it wouldnt follow the bone. Half the time it goes 'away' from the bone or else just spins in circles. He likes it okay and plays with it, but it would be nice if it did what was advertised on the box. January 6, 2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by Not what I expected My son got this for Christmas because he loves any kind of remote control and I thought this was one that could be "his!" He does love to watch the puppy sing and dance, but the puppy DOES NOT follow the bone remote (which is very frustrating). I finally gave up on the bone part and just let him play with the puppy. It is very durable though since my son is very rough with his toys. December 29, 2009
Rated 4 out of 5 by Didn't have these when I was a kid! A bit too complex for an 18 month child. Learning aspect is minimal, but fun to play with. December 25, 2009
