My baby girl loved watching the lights on this. But after a week the lights stopped working and the music would get hung up and repeat itself. We couldn't even turn it off. We had to take the batteries out to make it stop.

my husband and i bought this for our 18 month old a few weeks ago when the previous one (another brand) quick working. i was excited about it because of the projection feature. we bought it on a saturday morning and by sunday night, we had to turn the projection feature off because it was "skipping". we also noticed that the music was getting stuck at certain parts so i only turned it on while the little one was going to bed and then i would go in and turn it off. after a wild and crazy hunt for a light-bulb, we replaced that and the batteries to see what would happen. saturday night, it worked great and little one went to sleep with no issues...on sunday night, it started skipping again but the projection part worked great...monday night, i think it just totally died. the bunny and bumblebee were moving and you could hear the gears working but there was no light or music to it at all. after turning it off, it was still "on", but still no light or music. i really liked this product and all the other reviews mentioned it lasting for years so i am a little disappointed right now.

I love the features of this product, especially the option for nature sounds. The music is fine but even with a volume control it's still too loud. Mine has acted sporadic though, when the batteries get low it will NOT turn off at all, and keeps running and running until you take the batteries out. Or it will skip and repeat like a broken record. Not a reliable product.

We bought this while I was pregnant because of the bee, we called our baby bumble bee. More than one year later (he's 11 months old now) it's doing great and we couldn't be more happy with it. We use every night, my son presses the star to turn it on as soon as he we put him in to his bed. Very soothing to gaze at the lights on the actual toy or to lay back and watch the projected image. Very sturdy, my son was in the phase where he slams everything, so it's had its share of being banged against the crib side and it's still going strong. Because we use it every single night and during naps, we change batteries maybe every two months. I would prefer an electric projector but I can only imagine what would become of a cord hanging from a crib. So batteries I will gladly change!!

We bought this product in 2008 for our daughter. She used it until she was 1.5 years old. When she was younger, we would set the music on with the timer, and she would fall asleep while the music was on. As she got older, she started pushing the button herself again and again until she fell asleep. She would also turn the music on by herself when she woke up in the middle of the night, until she went back to sleep. Now I started using this for my 5 month old son. The '3-D graphics on the ceiling' feature eats batteries very fast, so we didn't use that feature. The product makes some creaking sounds, but I realized that this bothers me more than it does my daughter/son (I think they don't even realize that those sounds are not supposed to be there). I once opened the product and unscrewed a couple of screws, and put some oil on them. And that actually helped with the creaking sounds for a while. Now they are back, but I won't bother to fix this again. The music acts like a skipping CD when the battery levels are low. The straps did not fit our crib. So, I attached the product to the crib with ribbons on it's 4 sides. Overall, it really was a self-soother for my daughter, so I am very happy with this product.

Of all the musical night lights/projectors, this is my favorite. It has very good sound quality, and the tunes are so pleasant. The twinkling lights are beautiful, too. The only problem is, my 1-year-old loves it too much. The music soothes him, but the lights are too stimulating and keep him awake. It has an option to turn the lights off and just have the music, but it is so easy for him to push the button to turn them on again. I end up having to turn the whole thing off to get him to go to sleep. Thankfully, he doesn't know yet how to turn it back on again. He does love to push the button to find his favorite songs to play! This does make a wonderful daytime toy.

I just purchased this product for my 3 month old son. I was so excited to get home to put it in his crib. I was disappointed when I got home and the mounting straps didn't wrap around the rails on his crib. I think the product would work well if I could mount it. Is there away to get longer straps for someone that doesn't have the typical crib?

This is not just an ordinary toy this is something that is so soothing to not only your child but you too if you share a room with them, it is so comforting that will help you fall asleep as good as it does your child especially if you have sleeping problems for example not being able to sleep without sound this is perfect soothing music to fall asleep to.
