This was a hand-me-down and the three-year-old loves it, especially since it is Cars . . . Only drawback is the screen is not backlit so bright room lighting is necessary.

I'm sorry I didn't see the other comment on this product before purchasing it. I purchased it as a Christmas gift from a department store. When my child opened the gift we noticed that the number keys did not work. I returned it to the department store and they took it back without any hassle. They were sold out of them by that point, but I was able to order it online thru them. The second laptop was even worse that the first - NONE of the keys worked. We tried calling tech support but they were horrible. They told us we needed to pay to have the product sent back. I don't think so. I will never purchase another product from VTech.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Grandma don't buy this one!
I bought this for my grandson and within a week several of the keys stopped working. My daughter did all the trouble shooting and then called the company. She was told she would have to pay shipping to return the defective product or return it to the store. unfortunately we threw away the package so we cannot return it. It is the last VTech product we will buy!
