My 19-month old got this as a Christmas gift from his grandparents because he already loves electronics and pressing buttons. While I feel this is decent enough for his age group I am also disappointed with the quality. The actual computer screen is very small (3" x 1 1/2") and difficult to see - I wish it were brighter. The 'mouse' is pretty much useless - the top feels like it is going to break off. I have not accessed any of the downloadable features yet so I can not speak for that feature. It is easy for my son to carry and a nice supplement to what he is already learning at home. Overall I would give this a C+ Oh, and for those confused or unsure of the location of the activity button(s); they are the six buttons above the row of numbers. For example 'Music Party', 'Logic & Games', etc.

My daughter is in the "throw everything i get my hands on" Stage and after every time she throws the TOTE AND GO LAPTOP IM CONVINCED ITS BROKEN BUT IT WORKS EVERYTIME. I LOVE IT AND SHE DOES ASWELL. best thing about the laptop is that it has taught her four new words she wasnt saying a week ago. so im happy with the product.

My 3 yr. old received this as a Christmas present and likes to play with it on occasion, and while that is all that matters, I feel like this laptop is lacking in quality. I'm usually more pleased with Vtech products, but this 1 was an exception.

Rated 5 out of 5 by helocin Could be Better but my 2yr old LOVES It!
I was bummed that we could only choose from a few pre-approved names to have spoken at the greeting but happy I could have her actual name spelled out across the screen. Also REALLY annoying that only 1 story can be downloaded at once for the storytime feature. But my 2 year old now recognizes all the letters of the alphabet AND their sounds thanks to this little laptop. And like all Vtech toys, it kept her attention for quite a while. I think the age range should be lowered on it though, older kids aren't going to like the super repetitive instructions. Definitely worth the sale price we got it for though!!

Holds up well since my grandson is rough with his toys. Plays with it in the car and inside and out side. Great learning tool!!!

My mother bought this for my son for Christmas - it has not worked, replaced batteries and still no power. Cool concept - my son always tries to get on my laptop along with my husband's.

Rated 4 out of 5 by proudmothertoone My Daughter loves her Tote & Go Laptop!
My daughter got this for her birthday and drags it around everywhere we go :) thankfully it has a volume button for car rides. Keeps her engaged, even though she doesn't know all of her alphabet yet!

I bought this product for my 3 year old 2 years ago. She loved the games even though they were pretty stupid & the graphics extremely poor. A few months after owning it, the cord on the mouse started shredding & a few weeks after that, the mouse clicker broke off completely. The computer is now completely useless due to poor design. She is sad that I won't replace it.

My son is 2 and figured out how to take the battery cover off with-in the first 10mins of play. Went to download the setup file and it tells me "coming soon" so not able to personalize toy for my son. Otherwise a good toy that keeps his interest and off of mom and dad's computer now that this one is "his"! I would recommend this toy to people of children 4 and up but then the learning aspect of the toy might be for lack of a better word useless. Def. depends on the stage of your child.
