Rated 3 out of 5 by Not what you see in the Store I purchased this for my son because it was interactive and taught letters and numbers. The display and sounds were enough to keep his attention I thought. I got it home and took it out of it's package and suddenly I could not hear the sounds very well and my son gives it back to me and walks away. I looked for a volume button and opened up the slider and the sound was louder like it was in the store but the minute I closed it, the sounds were quieted to half. I started reading the troubleshooting guide that came with the phone and discovered that to stay within safety guidelines of putting a phone up to one's ear, the volume is reduced after taking it out of the package. The volume is louder so that you can hear it in a store setting. What? So if you slide it open, it is loud like it should be but then to look at the numbers on the keypad, it has to be vertical in your hand but to see them correctly on the screen the phone has to be horizontal in your hand. Very confusing for a child. April 15, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great learning toy-Great price My 2 year old son and I were drawn to this product simply beause it slides up just like mommy's & daddy's. I love to see him push the buttons and repeat the numbers and letters. Educational as well as Entertaining is always a plus with any toy! September 16, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by best toy i've purchased! My son has a lot of toys but this phone is probably one of the best purchases I've made. My son loves playing with my phone so I was looking for a toy phone that looked fairly real bc we all know that kids want mommy and daddy's phone, not their toy phones. It has a decent screen, a lot of buttons to press (with numbers and letters) and several different play modes. It says it's for 2+ years old but I got this for my son when he was 9 months old and he loved it, as well as all his baby friends. I haven't met a baby who doesn't love this phone. My now 11 month old throws it around, puts in his mouth, etc. and it's held up very well. I've read other reviews where people mention the volume--when it's in texting mode, it's pretty loud, but the volume gets really quiet when it's in the regular phone mode. This is intentional so it doesn't hurt kids' ears. December 18, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Cute and Worth the $$$$$$$ If you have a child like minne the first thing a 2 year old wants to do is grab my cell phone. This is a wonderful toy because my daughter loves the way it talks to her and unlike other toy phones it contains multiple voices and several different features. Her favorite of which is the txt message feature. She loves the Owl that graces the screen at every activity. I would highly recommend this toy if your child loves phones. :) September 16, 2011
