What is good learning? That may be a subjective question. But it’s likely that many parents would give answers that fall in the same ballpark, like:
- Collaborating and discussing ideas, possible solutions
- Project-based learning, designed around real world contexts
- Immersing students in a learning experience that allows them to grapple with a problem, gaining higher-order thinking skills from pursuing the solution

Rated 4 out of 5 by DANIGURL IT'S VERY EASY TO USE
I HAVE A 7 YEAR OLD AND A 5 YEAR OLD. I BOUGHT EACH OF THEM A MOBIGO AND THEY LOVED IT!! I THOUGHT IT MIGHT BE A LITTLE DIFFICULT FOR THEM, SINCE THEY NEVER HAD A VIDEO GAME BEFORE, BUT THEY HAD NO PROBLEMS. I LIKE THESE GAMES MUCH BETTER THAN OTHER GAME SYSTEMS FOR YOUNG CHILDREN. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE IS THE SHORT BATTERY LIFE, BUT THAT'S MINOR COMPARED TO HOW MUCH THEY ENJOY THIS GAME. MY 7 OLDEST DAUGHTER RATES THIS GAME 107!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Wendy We LOVE the MobiGo
My 2yr old received the MobiGo last Xmas. While her 5yr old sister received another popular brand hand-held equivalent. I cannot believe the difference in picture quality. MobiGo looks like a cartoon, the other brand's graphics are terrible. Hands-down, the MobiGo is awesome. Plus the qwerty keyboard is helping for future texting and typing skills. I highly recommend the MobiGo. You won't be sorry. I've had no problems with speakers or excessive battery use. I can't believe anyone would regret this purchase. I don't usually write reviews, but I thought this product deserves my kudos. It also offers a nice selection of software for my younger child. We have decided to buy another MobiGo for my older child instead of purchasing additional software for the "other" hand-held. That was HER choice. It's a great item.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bkmom My aMity at times.:-)
I have a 3yr old and a 5yr old and they both received a mobigo gift pack for Christmas best purchase ever. They play together more than ever because they have different game cartridges and downloads. My little one has learned a great deal. The battery life is not very good but I bought rechargeable batteries so that helps.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Rachael Speakers Stop Working
We're on our second Mobi-Go (pink) now. My daughter had the first for about 1 month before the speakers stopped working. I exchanged it for another one. So far the new one works okay but I hope this one doesn't stop working as well because she loves the games. Looking around at other reviews, it's a very common problem for the speakers to stop working yet you can listen with headphones (which is NOT practical for young kids and not good for their ears) I would have just purchased another brand or even a high-tech hand held video game system, if she wasn't already interested in the two games we purchased to go along with it. I wouldn't recommend this product because of the manufacturing flaws.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Momma43 my son loves this system
My four yr old has had this system for two years now. He loves it! Sometimes when mommy tries to teach him something it goes in one ear and out the other, this system gets his attention. I like that the games are not only educationalbut keep his attention. This system has survived avery hyper child, it has even been dropped down our stairs ( not carpeted, wooden) The only complaint I have is it does hace a shorter battery life but we purchased the charger. I only now plug it in b/c he is getting older and understands not to play with the cord ( of course this is under supervision) Also the battery covers come off way to easy. He actually lost one of the battery covers. This being a kids toy, they need to make that part a little more kid proof. Besides that, we love this for him.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Mom of 2 expected better
I purchased two of the mobigos. After a few days had problems with the touch screen not working the way it should. Replaced it only to have speaker go out after a few weeks. Just replaced the system again. So in just a little over a month my son is on his third mobigo. My daugters is still doing alright. Batteries do not last long. Think there could be a little more to the games for the cost. I always watch my children when they play. They have not dropped the mobigos or even been rough with them. Guessing they are just not made well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by T Sound goes in and out
My daughter loves her mobigo especially of rcar rides the only downside is the sound keeps going in and out, I think I will attempt to get a new one hoping this will not happen again because it really is a great educational toy.
