also got this for my daughter for christmas and it now has a coin in it that won't move. He also only moves his arms now and won't talk! Emailed vtech hopeuflly they help seeing I'm not the only one with this issue. I also threw away the box!

My 3 year old grandson absolutly loves this toy, BUT it will not take chips after 3 days. He's not rough, he has a record player, laptop, and his own DVD/TV that he uses every day, no problems. I haven't tried to contact CS yet but will on Monday. Hope they are helpful or this review will be all over the internet.

Kids loved it but chip got stuck after a day, which ruins several features. Haven't been able to reach service because busy/closed for the holidays. Also, on the quizzing game, it doesn't allow time for kids to process response...while my son was trying to figure out which chip to pick, Cogsley moved on quickly, then by the time he found it, his response didn't match the new question. So then he was discouraged because he thought everything he did was wrong. We're all disappointed b/c the kids really want to play with their new robot friend & he only lasted a day.

My son was so excited with Cogsley. When we got him out he worked great... Thinking nothing more about it, we threw away the box. Within a couple of days Cogsley became stuck on spelling. That was all he would do, and when we tried to switch him to another function he became stuck - like a broken record player. We even tried putting in new batteries. I am so disappointed and what makes it worse, we can't take it back without a box. My suggestion... Keep the box - who knows how long it will last.

Broken after an hour of play. Can't get through on the customer service line. Not sure what to do. Only purchased after Consumer Reports said it was such a great toy. My 3 yr old granddaughter isn't rough and tough--she put 2 coins in at the same time. What 3 year old wouldn't do that?

Best toy ever! My son loves interacting with Cogsley! He dances and lights up and is very educational! My son loves feeding Cogsley the learning chips and twisting his nose, ears and eyes! And, the best part is that Cogsley will grow with him!!!
