Rated 1 out of 5 by Horrible language for a young child to learn First of all, I want to say that this is a fun toy. My 3.5 year old son loves all of the popular toys out there that transform into dinosaurs/vehicles/robots, and this toy was no different. He loves playing with it. That being said, I have NO CLUE what the designers were thinking when they added the audio to this toy. It says things that are HIGHLY INAPPROPRIATE for a 3 year old to be learning, like "On your knees!", "This is my road!", "Obey your king!", "Cower in fear!", etc. Not soon after my son started playing with this toy, he began saying things like "I'm the one in charge!" and "Give me that now!" Coincidence? I think not. The toy was put away and he doesn't play with it anymore. If you have small children, DO NOT BUY THIS TOY! September 23, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Inappropriate Phrases I think this is a super neat toy and well worth the money for the features. However, the things this dinosaur and driver say are just not appropriate: COWER IN FEAR, ON YOUR KNEES, OBEY YOUR KING, I DRIVE ANGRY, FEAR ME.... Not exactly phrase you'd want your kid repeating in public. The driving angry phrase was especially troubling. I bought this for my three year old nephew's birthday, but after listening to the phrases, we ended up taking it back to the store. A pity, since it was an exciting gift. Why VTech did not think these phrases through is beyond me. VTech should realize that these phrases are not appropriate to repeat in preschool or public. June 20, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Stopped working the first day! The product stopped playing sound the first day. Tried the reset suggested by the manual. Replaced the batteries. Still will not work. Would not waste my money on another switch and go Dino! March 23, 2014

Rated 1 out of 5 by very poor quality My son played with this toy for about 30 seconds before it completely stopped working. I purchased this because it was V-tech and normally I love their products. Very disappointing. November 18, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by Doesn't work This was a gift to my son, but after opening it, it doesn't work. I replaced to batteries with brand new ones, and it still doesn't work. Don't waste your money on this item. October 31, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Fun, but not well thought out My son's two loves at the moment are dinosaurs and transformers, so when I saw these toys I thought he'd fall in love, and he did! The switch from car to dino and back is pretty easy and he figured it out by himself pretty quickly. He enjoys both modes and plays with it often. HOWEVER, and it's a big however, some of the features are not well planned. For example, the from arms for the trex are located under the car. They are just on a hinge and don't stay tucked in while in car mode. At the moment my son can still roll it around, but in a few days the arms will drag on the floor and probably break off. Other moving parts of the toy are GREAT, it's just a bummer that there couldn't be one more little pressure point to keep the arms tucked in. The same is starting to happen with the jaw, as well.
