Rated 4 out of 5 by Son Loves this on his ride to daycare My Son and I have a 30 min commute each morning and evening to and from Daycare so this is the perfect gift for him. Since I read reviews I knew to order the home and car charger to make it better. I also purchased a large amount of batteries from our local BJ's Wholesale club. He is only 3 and I know it says for 4-9 but I think with cell phones and so many households with computers they are able to use this at a younger age. He has already mastered some of the games. This is a wonderful purchase if you children spend a great deal of time each day in a car. We are taking a trip this weekend and can't wait to see how that goes with something to keep his mind busy. Rated 4 out of 5 by Exciting Toy For A Worthy Price My kids love the Innotab! My 4 year old tried a display model & fell in love. The tablet is the perfect size for my toddlers & keeps them entertained for hours. It is very durable for their "rough" personalities. The only drawbacks I have encountered is battery consumption (though I knew to buy the A/C adapter with it ahead of time) & the misplacement of the stylus. Since the stylus is detachable, my children often lose it & I'm left spending my evenings hunting it down. Still a great product, despite the inconvenience of the free-range stylus. December 26, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by InnoTab is good, but 2 issues Our girls love their tablets, and they work as advertised out of the box, but there two pretty big cons: 1) battery drain is fast so it should come with a charger, and 2) the website support for help or add-ons is just not functional at all. December 26, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by LOVE it but NEEDS to come with a charger THIS PRODUCT NEEDS A CHARGER. It is a GREAT system for both of my childrent and they love it. We go through batteries every 2 days! December 26, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome! I got this for my seven-year-old, but it has such ease of use that my four-year-old loves it! My daughter uses my mother's iPad all the time, and an iPad is what she asked for Christmas. So I started looking...I was up in the air over the innotab and Leap Pad. I was able to try the Innotab at a local store and even then I was still completely unsure if it would do exactly what I was looking for. I bought it and I have been so impressed. It operates quite a bit like the iPad. My daughter loves everything on it! I bought two games to go with it, and to be honest, I probably could have done that later, b/c it comes with SO MUCH on it! The only thing I would recommend is buying an SD card for it. I can't save any music or pictures, etc. But this is something that I am so glad that I purchased it. Amazing price for what all it offers! December 25, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Mostly good... Works good and my 4 year old daughter loves it. It does however consume batteries pretty quick and does not come with an ac power adapter(sold seperatly). I would rate better if it came with it instead. December 25, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by help please help i have been on line for 5 hours . i installed navigator and it will not let me register warranty of even where to get free downloads or v coins im so upset i called company they said they will call me in 3-5 days omg please help December 25, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by PRODUCT NEEDS WORK Batteries lasted less than an hour. I'm taking the product back, it's not worth it. I'd rather wait for version 3 or 4. So, I'd wait a couple years before I try to buy a similar product from this company. December 24, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by Undecided Seems like a great concept, however it isn't very user friendly. I own a Mac and since my purchase of the Innotab 2 weeks ago I still can't figure out how to download videos or music from iTunes. The mjpeg format seems to be unsupported. I've called vtech customer support and they "could not recommend any converters" or any help! So then I gathered everything up and went to the Apple Store Genius Bar and they couldn't find an app that would convert to a mjpeg format. I've googled like crazy looking for a solution and asked everyone I know and still haven't had any success. I'm afraid this will end up going back to the store. My advice to Vtech would be to be more compatable with all operating systems. December 23, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by vtech innotab I have to boys one is 4year old and my other is 5year old they love it. but music it will not let me add music to vtech innotab. December 23, 2011

Rated 4 out of 5 by help me my daughter loves it she is seven and she can play games and everything. i hate that you have to have an sd card because had i known i would have gotten her one with the tablet. :( she opened it at 7 this morning it is now 9 and she is still playing. the batteries die in an hour so you need to purchase the ac adapter. i can not find the alarm clock that it advertises to have. my daughter is upset about that and it is aggrivating. its good for younger kids but not fast enough or equipped enough for older kids December 20, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it! I am pleased with the Innotab. I debated between the Leappad and Innotab, and am so glad I chose Innotab! After purchasing an SD card, I was able to transfer music from my iTunes library, pictures from my computer, and some of my sons favorite DVDs. These are things I couldn't have done with the Leappad. It does hog batteries, but we have an AC adapter from our old Vsmile system that works perfect with it. I also bought the car charger. I purchased this for my 6 yr old son, and figure even after he outgrows the educational games he will still be able to use it as a portable DVD player and mp3 player for years. I think he would outgrow the Leappad fairly soon. December 19, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by This toy is AWESOME! I bought 3 of these as Christmas gifts. Setting them up was really easy. I am just really impressed with this toy. I downloaded music, pictures, videos, a movie, and 9 apps on each Innotab. I bought an 8gb sd card and it isn't even half full!Vtech gives 3 free vcoins with each Innotab that can be shared with all three tablets so that was a great deal. The art studio is really fun, even my 11 year old son has a blast playing with it. You can use your own photos and color on them, add funny wigs, glasses and hats or make awesome drawings. The apps are very reasonably priced at 2.99-4.99 each. Also they have already added more apps so the selection is steady growing. I was very torn between this and the LeapPad, I'm so glad I went with this. One complaint is it does go through batteries fast but we plan to buy the adaptor and it does seem like better quality batteries last longer. I ordered all three from the Vtech website and they all shipped super fast. I ordered 2 recieved them, and was so impressed I ordered a third. Thanks vtech! December 15, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by They do not ship when they say they will Have not rec'd yet, Did not ship when they siad they would. Would not recommend this site to order from. December 14, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Toy I ever Bought I bought this for my 3yr old for christmas, he hasn't even seen it yet but as soon as I got it out of the box and loaded up everybody else in the house was on it. My 17 yr old brother who is too cool for school played with it for a hour. I think it is safe to say it's a kids Itouch without them having to be super careful. December 10, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Must Read I bought this for my 2 year olds bday in a couple days. I thought it would be a good idea to load it with with games, books, pictures and movies before she received it. Best idea I've ever had because its taken me 2 days to get everything right. I could only image her opening it and then me taking it back until it was ready. She would have had a fit while I was getting it ready. I suggest everyone bypass the learning navigator and click and drop pics and vids by using Mycomputer>Vtech>LLC>movies/pictures. Also after searching the web for days for a free compressor that will also convert movies to .avi I came up with Pocket DVD Wizard. Its $15 (I know, I know I didn't want to pay either) its the best for what many parents are looking for. Trust me I'm saving you time by searching the web for hrs and running into false converter/ compressor programs. Good luck! December 8, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Dont forget to buy the SD card No where on the box does it state that you need an SD card nor in the directions. I went through all the downloads for the to tell me this when I could have got it at the store. A little never racking. December 8, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fun but basis accessories are missing It is a great toy, but parents have to spend more money for accessories, and learning cartridges to actually use this InnoTab. I am about to chweck is there are free apps as Vtech claims on the package. will see :) Thank you VTech-so far:) December 4, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by What a cool toy:) I have been so excited to get the InnoTab. I was trying to decide if I should get InnoTab or Leappad. I decided on the InnoTab for my 5yr old son. He loves music and loves to draw pictures and play games (he will be learning while he plays). I really like the cost of the online apps compared to $20 to buy the game from the store. I am glad I set it up before Christmas. You do need to have an SD card to download apps from the website. It was very simple and easy and the apps don't take allot of memory. I bought a 4GB and downloaded 7 apps and it used 1-2 MB per app so the 4GB is plenty. December 2, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Umm...yea I'm a bit dissappointed I bought this item for my daughter who is 2 years old, she has a 4 year old mind. She loved it on first sight so it was bought. In one day, specifically in 5 hours our 4 duracell batteries was eaten up. Which is REDICULOUS! The rubbery insides that's underneath the power button has now moved, mind you, my daughter is gentle and she only held it for 3 days. smh. I hate the fact that who have to buy an SD Card so games who download can be put on the device and also the pictures, and things of that nature, that your child might do on the system CAN"T be saved without this IMPORTANT item. There's no camera or anything so you have to buy the Kiddie Zoom camera so that feature will work. smh. It's like, this item is ok untill you're ready to really have fun with it. I mean it's good enough but it's NOT good enough. I'd recommend it though b/c it's still an ok device. November 30, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Fun for my child Bad on Batteries The Battery life is short and batteries are costly November 29, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by disappointed poor design, cover broke off after replacing batteries for the first time, same day. sadly i don't have the packaging and cannot return this item to the store. guess tape will hold the cover in place. should come with ac adopter. i would recommend this but would definitely explain the all "cons". November 28, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome toy!!! My daughter absolutely loves this! Yes it does drain batteries but if you have enough common sense to put in rechargeable batteries then it works just fine :) November 28, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by VTech Learning toys My daughter uses the product VReader but I am so disappointed in the fact that VTech comes out with new products all the time and not one of them have compatible games that can be used between the devices. My family owns the VTech game system with the wireless remotes. I have gotten my daughter a VReader for her birthday. I am thinking about the Innotab but since this and the VReader that just came out are not compatible with the games I don't think I will be getting this. I rather fix up my old laptop and let her play some learning computer games on that. November 21, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Awesome, but soaks up battery power! This is great for travel, keeps my son busy on long drives. However, I must keep at least 16 batteries on the side! My husband wanted to return because of how fast it drains batteries, but our son was hooked on the first day he used it! Guess we will just end up spending a fortune on batteries:( November 18, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fun fun fun My baby brothers got this for their birthday. They almost cried from joy. It is very fun and once you have downloaded some apps it is amazing. It is kind of addicting and its kickstand is ingenious and durable. November 18, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by review after one month use After one month use by my kid, here is my review. The innotab can attract kid immediately. The kid can spend most of the time on the toy. The toy is a battery killer, so you have to buy a AC adapter. The stand on the back of innotab was fragile and was broken already. The kid is easy to be addicted into the toy, so be careful of the toy's bad effects on the kid eye health, independent thinking and communication ability. The kid like to put the pen into mouse or on face which is dangerous. In fact the kid's little finger is enough to operate instead of using the pen. Overall, this toy is not good for everyday use because of the addiction and long time usage, but it's good for temporary use such as traveling to keep child busy and in quiet. November 16, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love it minus the flaws! We received this InnoTab as a gift for my daughter's 4th Birthday. She loves it! A few down falls is that the back of the innotab gets extremely hot after just a few minutes of use. Also, the battery life doesn't last long at all. I installed 4 AA batteries into it at 4 p.m. and by 8 p.m. the low battery light was already flashing and I didn't use the cheap batteries. I would recommend getting the AC adapter and car charger to make sure the kids get plenty of use out of it. I would also get an SD card for it that way you have enough space to purchase extra games online or even to put pictures, movies, or music on the device. Hope my review was helpful to others! Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed I am a first time parent and I like to research anything I buy for my family. I was debating beweent the Vtech tab or another similar product. I purchase this tab because i thought i could download movies or even video clips to keep my baby entertain. Cons: -I can't download any videos from my mac to the tab. I think you need to buy the kidizoom to download videos you record form there. There goes more $$$$$$ -Today was the first time i open it. However, in the process of downloading some applications from Vtech and figuring how this thing works. The battery was gone by the end of the day. Unbelievable are you kidding me!!!! -very disappointed I thought i bought a great product but it seems that i need to buy many accessories to make this tab work. -I put a 2 GB card and sometimes the pad does not it. I had to take out and back in a few times. Besides the imperfections the applications are interactive and educational. The Only thing I wish the company changes is: - Make it rechargeable and run on batteries as a backup. - be able to download movies. I don't mind paying for it if it was available from the download store. What the company needs to know is that we moms travel a lot with our kids. A movie, video clip, cartoon, makes such a big difference. If we can see movies from our cell phones and touch pads when we travel why can our kids have something similar. At this point I am still debating if I should return it and buy my child a touch pad or just keep it. November 7, 2011
