Have you met Cogsley our interactive learning robot?

Melissa Hauser
Cogsley is one little robot that carries a lot of learning fun in his backpack. Designed for preschool and kindergarten age children, Cogsley helps your child develop skills that get him ready for school. With six different interactive play modes, he offers endless enjoyment. Let's take a closer look at Cogsley.

To wake Cogsley up you simply push the yellow button on the top of his head. He will greet your child with a warm, "Oh, hello! I'm Cogsley, thanks for waking me up,” and then prompts interaction depending on what setting he is on. (Yes, he can be turned off, but he also has automatic shut off.) He has ears and eyes that can be twisted and turned; His nose deposits the chip; and his body moves and swivels to get your kids engaged. He also comes with 30 learning chips that include the alphabet, words and few other fun things. His stomach is an LCD screen that gives your child visual recognition of what he is saying.

Cogsley likes to Explore It and by inserting a chip he teaches your child letters and words. "This is the letter J. That was fun." or "J is for Jetpack." The letter J or the word and image of a Jetpack will show on the LCD screen. He encourages interaction when he senses a period of time that your child has not inserted a coin.

When Cogsley gets hungry he goes into Charge Me Up mode. (You must move him to this mode.) He will tell you that he is hungry and how many chips that he needs to be fed. As your child feeds this learning robot chips, he will count them out loud and the numbers will show on the LCD screen. He praises your child once she has fed him the correct amount.

Cogsley is a Super Speller. By putting a chip in and turning his nose he identifies the word on the chip and tells your child to turn his ear to spell the word. This activity not only teaches spelling and word building, but hand/eye coordination. Spelling is also taught in Cogsley's Quiz mode. He will present a word and ask you to tell him what letter the word starts with. Your child can answer by putting in a chip or turning Cogsley's ear.

VTech's interactive robot loves to play and his favorite game is the Follow Along game where he gives instructions on what body part and color to turn. Cogsley loves to encourage interaction and makes learning fun. This little Robot Rocks and will dance with the clap of a hand. What's more fun than a dance party?

Cogsley is a fun learning robot and aids in the development of so many areas for your child. Teaching basic math skills, word building and letter names, while at the same time encouraging discovery & exploration, independent play, hand/eye coordination, and auditory stimulation.
