We would like to welcome Linda Gardner to the VTech family. Linda is the creative mind behind the blog craftaholics anonymous, which is all about crafts and DIY projects. She is also a mother of 2 small boys and with Valentine's Day just around the corner we thought we would see what kinds of projects Linda had for kids to create.
Cupid Arrows
Kids are sure to have a blast making and playing with these fun little arrows! Make Cupid Arrows using straws, paper hearts, and ribbon. Simply put a small slit in the heart and slide a straw through. Then decorate with 6" strips of ribbon.

Help your kids turn those little candy boxes into scary cute Valentine Monsters! Cut strips of red or pink card stock to wrap around each box. Then give your kids googley eyes, monster teeth, and bows to glue on. They'll love handing out their handmade valentines to their friends and loved ones!

Here's a fun way to change up the typical Valentine! Give your kids white card stock hearts and white crayons and have them write secret messages on the hearts. Then let them swap the hearts and use water color paints to decode their Valentine message!
