This holiday season, as children tore into their VTech® gifts, their parents were busy connecting them to the web via the Learning Lodge Navigator®, VTech’s download manager used to purchase and download learning apps or to manage files for all connected VTech toys. With a simple download from a toy’s included CD or the VTech website (http://www.vtechkids.com/download), parents are able to register their children’s toys and gain access to an enormous online library of educational games, e-books, music, videos and additional personalized content. With over 350 apps, parents are able to give their children more than just an average toy. They give them limitless learning and gaming options as well as become more involved with their children’s learning experiences.

One might think 350 apps would be enough, but to always stay fresh, VTech continues to add new content as the Learning Lodge Navigator is constantly being enhanced. In December 2012 alone, VTech released ten new Deluxe e-books featuring children’s favorites such as Toy Story® and Tangled® from Disney®, SpongeBob® and Dora® from Nickelodeon® and Hello Kitty® from Sanrio®. Continuing its ongoing partnership with Sesame Workshop®, VTech has also launched 16 new videos featuring Elmo® and the gang and special celebrity appearances including Cameron Diaz, Debra Messing and Ziggy Marley. For those new to the Learning Lodge Navigator, installation and setup are simple. With both PC and MAC® versions, the only thing you need is an Internet connection. Once downloaded, the Learning Lodge Navigator launches itself and detects your toy. The Set-Up Wizard takes you step by step, through the installation process. To make your experience even easier, VTech has set up many different instructional videos available through its YouTube® station (http://www.youtube.com/VTech Toys).
