Interesting Spinosaurus Facts

Spinosaurus is one of the largest known carnivorous dinosaurs that walked on two very muscular legs.

Spinosaurus would hunt for food near the sea and is thought to have also hunted some smaller dinosaurs too!

The Spinosaurus' most unusual feature was its large sail. Whenever Spinosaurus would arch its back, the sail (made of lengthy spines and covered with skin) would rise into the air.

Unlike most carnivorous dinosaurs' curved teeth, the teeth of the Spinosaurus were straight and thought to function like knives, skewering their slippery prey.
